The Mer Emeraude is located at one-hour sail with botry [boat] in the east north of Diego Suarez. On the way to go to that amazing place you can admire the famous Nosy lonjo (sugar loaf) you will not find some where else, with possibility of taking some photos. The departure is from the beach of Ramena. You can also admire the old French military barracks where there are still some big guns which were used to protect channel of Diego Suarez from at sea.
This spot is called Mer Emeraude on account of the beauty of its green emerald sea there. And just near there is an ideal place for swimming or bathing in a crystal-clear sea beside a beach with a clean white sand or which you can also sunbath with an easy mind.
