In the northern part of the Island Madagascar, more precisely in the region of Diego Suarez is the spot where you can find the Tsingy Red. It is near the trunk road 6, at 48km away from the town of Diego Suarez. And then there is a fork of a country road sand 17km which leads to the village IRODO where situated the Tsingy Red. It is quite amazing nature because it is a natural formation emerging from the underground, and when there is erosion, it appears on the surface of the ground. This tsingy is red because of the laterite which was on it before erosion. Tsingy red is neither rock nor soil. The name Tsingy is given to this nature as is on account of its form in sheer. It is such a beautiful landscape, so you are well advised to come to admire the Red Tsingy.
